Known for its wonderful panoramic views of the capital, Sky Garden offers a unique experience from its glass dome on the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building on 20 Fenfurch Street. Its three storeys are at 155 metres, and offer a look of London and more for free (!).
Whether you’re visiting London on a budget or not, Sky Garden is a great free activity in London to put on your to do list.

HOW TO GET TO SKY GARDENS
Address: 1 Sky Garden Walk, London – EC3M 8AF
The closest tube stations to Sky Garden are Bank and Monument which are a short five minute walk.
Tickets: Free!
As I may have mentioned once (or twice), this wonderful scenic point is free to enter. However, you have to book tickets in advance and book a time slot. This is so it doesn’t get crowded and you can have the best experience possible. Tickets can be found on the official website linked below:
THE SKYLINE AND MORE
With three storeys, the enlarged dome shows you an all-round view of London. There is also a cafe on the first floor where you can enjoy some coffee and snacks in!
Sky Garden also has two restaurants and a bar, which you have to book separately. They are great option for date night as you can still come in the evening and watch the sunset from here. Be sure to book in advance though as the evening slots are usually full! Sky Garden also offers an array of activities, such as sunrise yoga which you can sign up for.
Look out for the indications around the glass, they show the monuments that are in your view in case you didn’t notice them!
All in all, whether you’re a tourist or a resident, Sky Garden is a great free alternative to get a scenic skyline of London for free! There are several places to sit around the Gardens and that you can admire the capital from. Have you ever been to Sky Garden?
